Anindita Institute of NursingFederation Internationale de Football Association in short and more commonly known as “FIFA”, holds a world championship event every 4 years on the sports of football at an international or country level for Men team. The contest take place between 32 countries, competing to be crowned as the world’s best team at the team level and many other prizes at individual level such as the Man of the Tournament, The best goal Keeper, and The Top Scorer.
The FIFA World Cup was first held in 1930, when FIFA, the world's football governing body, decided to stage an international men's football tournament under the era of FIFA president Jules Rimet who put this idea into place. The inaugural edition, held in 1930, was contested as a final tournament of only thirteen teams invited by the organization. Since then, the World Cup has experienced successive expansions and format remodeling, with its current 32-team final tournament preceded by a two-year qualifying process, involving over 200 teams from around the world.
This time the FIFA World Cup 2022 was held in Qatar, a nation situated within the Asia continent with the Persian Gulf at the east side and neighbouring with UAE (United Arab Emirates) at south east and KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) in the west. This territory was a desert and now we see the spectacular and technologically advanced football stadium all built for the sole purpose of the World cup contest.
This year we witnessed Argentina won the world cup for the 3rd time. Led by their Captain Lionel Messi, Argentina won the world cup by defeating the defending champions, France at the final game that was held on 18th of December 2022 at Lusail Iconic Stadium in Qatar. Argentina held the cup once again after 36 years at Qatar.

The next time the tournament of FIFA World Cup will be held on 2026, the host countries are USA (United States of America), Canada and Mexico. And hope we will see our nation India, for the first time to compete in the tournament.
